Applivery for Android

Applivery Privacy Policy

Last updated October 17, 2026

This policy covers Applivery, the Android app (package livery.app) made by Livery (livery.site). Applivery reads the design of apps installed on your phone and turns it into a design kit. Almost everything it does happens on your phone; this page says exactly what stays there, what is sent, when, and why. Questions: privacy@livery.site.

In short

  • The apps you read, the screens you record and the kits you make stay on your phone.
  • Nothing is sent unless you choose to: share usage, sign in, share a kit, or send one to Figma.
  • No ads, no advertising or analytics SDKs, no selling or renting of data, no tracking across other apps or websites.
  • You can delete your account and its data from the app or on the web.

What stays on your phone

Applivery processes the following on your phone only. None of it is collected by us.

  • The list of installed apps. Read so you can pick an app to inspect. It is never uploaded.
  • The app you pick. Applivery reads its installation file on your phone to measure colours, fonts, icons, images and screens.
  • Walkthrough recordings. Screens captured while you walk through an app, short videos of its animations, and images cut from those screens.
  • Page layouts. If you turn on Page layouts, the position, text and text size of elements on each captured screen. Password fields are never read.
  • Your kits and your settings.

They stay until you delete a kit, use Settings → Storage → Delete all, or uninstall Applivery.

Permissions, and why each is asked

Before Android asks for any of these, the app shows its own page explaining why, with a choice to continue or not. Saying no never blocks the rest of the app.

  • See the apps on this phone (Query all packages). Applivery's core purpose is inspecting other apps' design, which needs the list of installed apps. The list is never sent anywhere.
  • Record the screen during a walkthrough (screen capture and a foreground service). Only while a walkthrough you started is running; Android asks you each time and shows its screen-sharing icon. No sound is recorded. Recordings stay on the phone.
  • Notifications. Only the walkthrough's ongoing notification, with its Finish button. No ads, reminders or messages.
  • Page layouts (optional) (Accessibility service). Off until you turn it on. While a walkthrough you started is recording, it reads the layout of the app you are walking through each time a screen is captured. It never taps, types or changes anything, never reads password fields, and what it reads stays on your phone. Applivery is not an accessibility tool, and this is the only use of the access.
  • Internet. To sign in, browse and share kits in Explore, send a kit to Figma, check which limits apply to this phone, and send usage if you choose to share it.

You can change any permission in Android's settings (Settings → Apps → Applivery → Permissions); the app links there from Settings → Permissions & access.

What is sent to us, only when you choose

  • Usage, if you turn on Share usage. It is off until you agree in the app, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy. When on, Applivery sends: a random install id; the names and package names of the apps you read; which features you use (for example a walkthrough started or a kit exported, with counts); your phone's model, Android version, language and app version; and, if you are signed in, a link to your account. The country is read from the connection; your IP address is not stored. Nothing from inside the apps you read is ever sent.
  • Your account, if you sign in. Your email address and name, and the profile picture Google or GitHub shares if you sign in with them. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider as salted hashes; we never see them.
  • Kits you share to Explore. The kit you choose to share (its colours, type, measured motion and the captured screens and images in it), the app's name and icon, and your name as the author. Public kits can be seen by anyone; you can make one private or delete it at any time.
  • Kits you send to Figma. The kit, and its images and icons when they are included, stored privately for your account so the Applivery plugin in Figma can open them. Only you can open them.
  • Likes you give to kits in Explore.

How we use it

  • To provide the features you use: your account, Explore, likes and Figma.
  • Usage, only if you share it, to understand which features work and to improve Applivery. It is reviewed in totals.
  • To keep the service safe: rate limits and abuse prevention.

We do not sell or rent data, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or use it to decide credit or lending.

Who else handles it

Only the service providers that run Applivery's online features, under contract and only on our instructions:

  • Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in.
  • Vercel: hosting of livery.site and its API.
  • Resend: account emails (confirming your address, resetting your password).
  • Google and GitHub, only if you choose to sign in with them.
  • Figma, only for kits you open in the Applivery plugin; Figma handles them under its own terms.

We may disclose data if the law requires it. If Livery changes hands, this policy keeps applying to data collected under it.

Security

Everything sent between the app and livery.site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Stored data is access-controlled: private kits and Figma copies can only be opened by their owner, through links that expire. The app stores its sign-in token in its private storage on your phone.

How long we keep it

  • Your account, shared kits, Figma kits and likes: until you delete them or your account.
  • Usage: until it is no longer useful for improving Applivery. When you delete your account, its link to you is removed straight away; ask us to delete the rest.
  • Rate-limit counters: a day.

Deleting your data

Deleting your account removes your account, your kits shared to Explore, your kits sent to Figma and your likes, straight away. Usage it sent stays only without any link to you.

Children

Applivery is a design tool for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict its use. Email privacy@livery.site and we will answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and its date, and tell you in the app when a change affects data already collected.
