At a major sporting event, guests should never notice
how complicated the branding was to deliver.
They should simply move through the venue and
experience one coherent identity, from arrival and
wayfinding to hospitality spaces, sponsor touchpoints
and the environments captured by cameras.
Behind that apparent simplicity, however, are hundreds
of decisions around design, production, materials,
approvals and installation.
For the UEFA Champions League Final 2026, Iventions
delivered the branding for the Hospitality & Guest
Experience programme. The challenge was not simply
to brand multiple spaces, but to create a consistent
visual journey across very different environments while
responding to the operational realities of one of the
world’s biggest football events..
In this article, we explore what sports event branding
really involves, why it matters at elite sporting events,
and the creative and operational process behind
delivering a world-class hospitality experience.

You are planning to take your events across Europe.
Or maybe you are already doing it.
Which means you are coordinating agencies in different
countries. Managing multiple suppliers. Aligning
timelines across time zones. Defending budgets
internally. Trying to keep one concept consistent from
Barcelona to Berlin to Paris.
That is the reality that many of our clients are facing. And
that is the context in which the Iventions London hub
was created. A solution to the complexity you are
navigating. A practical move to be closer to the clients
and teams shaping European growth.
We sat down with Chris, our new Commercial Director
based in London, for a conversation on what this move
means for our business but most importantly, for our
clients.

I’ve attended CPHI Trade Show for many years, and one
thing I’ve noticed is how much the exhibition continues
to evolve. Every year, exhibitors place greater
importance on the look and feel of their stands, while
visitors expect more than a simple product showcase.

The brands that leave a lasting impression aren’t
necessarily the ones with the biggest spaces. They’re
the ones that create environments people want to spend
time in. In an industry built on trust, quality and
long-term relationships, standing out requires much
more than visibility alone.
